Here is a simple way to determine if your doors and windows are sealed up and do not allow any drafts to come in or out. You can use a incense burner or a pump (those sticks you use to light fireworks) to establish a smoke trail. When you wave the stick around an opening the smoke trial should still go upwards. If it is moving horizontally in any direction you have some air flow or leakage going on. You will need to adjust your weather strip or add additional caulking around the window areas to seal it up. Time spent checking your house will save you dollars each month on your bills.
