Check you zone to determine the amount of insulation needed to keep your house efficient. Check all the weather strips around the doors to make sure it is air tight when closed. Caulk and seal the windows/doors and any other openings around the exterior walls. When not using your fireplace, keep the damper shut to prevent a 25% energy loss.
